I live in Madurai Tamil Nadu. Its coordinates are
9.9197degrees North and 78.1194 degrees East. Madurai is
330 feet above sea level. from my roof top (3 floors high) I
can see on the distant mountain Top (very near the crest) a
town which I believe is Kodaikanal, 6000 feet above.Google
Map the direct air distance is 80KM. Am I RIGHT IN
CONCLUDING THAT IT IS kODAI town. Does not the
curvature of the Earth hide the line of sight>?
