Sonam Kapoor is the daughter of famed actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor and the granddaughter of great filmmaker Surinder Kapoor. She is the eldest of three siblings.
She completed her school education in Mumbai and then went to London for further studies. She is the niece of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi.
During the filming of ‘Black’ she assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The strange part is Sonam was always interested in writing and direction but never in acting. It proves one can never change his/her destiny.
