Born in Mumbai, Ranaveer always dreamed of becoming an actor but his dreams were over shadowed by creative writing as he thought that acting is just a far-fetched dream. He pursued his bachelors of Arts degree from Indiana University from Bloomingam. Inculcated with the desire deep down in his heart, he couldn’t resist it anymore and moved back to India for the auditions and was thus screened and shortlisted for Yash Raj Productions Band Baaja Baarat.
He got into limelight with his debut where he played Bittoo who is a wedding planner. This rom-com with co-star Anushka Sharma won him double fame of awards and affair with Anushka Sharma. He bagged the award of Filmfare for best male debut.
Though the actor hasn’t got plethora of flicks in his bag but has been successful in making mark in every flick he is picking so far. His next film was Ladies VS Rickey Bahl where he essays the role of guy who cons rich girls and romances with them. Both his flicks proved to be good enough to be remembered.
