Cute television actress Aashima Thappar never dreamt to be an actress. After completing her studies she joined television industry as assistant director and started to work in creative department of the television shows.
It all happened co-incidentally as she got the opportunity. Once she appeared for an audition at Balaji Telefilms. Subsequently she was called by the production house Balaji Telefilms. Aashima Thappar was selected to play role of Cady, the best friend of Priya (Sakshi Tanwar) in Ekta Kapoor's show Bade Acche Lagte Hain on Sony Entertainment Television.
It was fist time she faced camera. There Aashima Thappar was blessed to work with Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar and Sameer Kochar. Bade Acche Lagte Hain is her debutant show however it brought her overnight stardom making her favorite of all in her role of cute Cady.
