Originally named as Bradley John Hodge, this Australian cricketer is among the most experienced players and a prolific run-getter in the Twenty20 format. A hard-hitting batsman, the senior Victorian cricketer has an impressive first-class record.
He is a right hand batsman who bats in the middle order, as well as a part-time right arm off spin bowler. He has over 17,000 runs in first-class cricket and close to 10,000 runs in List A. He has played six Tests, 25 ODIs and eight Twenty20 Internationals for Australia. Despite retiring from first-class and one-day cricket, Hodge continues to play Twenty20 cricket and scores runs just like he’s done all through his long career.
Hodge was impressive while playing for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League. Formerly of Kolkata Knight Rider, he was included in the Rajasthan Royals rooster in IPL 2012 and brought with him valuable experience and strengthens the middle-order.
