Best known for her roles in Punjabi films, Deepshikha was born and brought up in Mumbai and went to Dalmiya College in Malad. She has appeared in number of Punjabi music videos as well, most famous being Daler Mehndi's Dardi Rab Rab.
Deepshikha is seen in number of television shows such as Ajnabi, Sonpari, and many more. In 2012, she bagged a role in Sony TV’s Honge Juda Na Hum. She has also acted in a number of Bollywood movies such as Koyla, Baadshah, Red Swastik, Partner, Dhoom Dhadaka, etc. In 2011, Deepshikha turned director with film Yeh Dooriyan, where she also played the lead role of a divorcee.
After ten years of marriage with actor Jeet Upendra, they got divorced in 2011. Later she tied knot with her co-star in Yeh Dooriyan, Kaishav Arora on January 18, 2012. Deepshikha has two children, elder daughter Vidhika and younger Vivaan, from her first marriage.
