Jessica Raine is a British actress who is better known for performing character of Nurse Jenny Lee in the BBC1 drama series Call the Midwife. Since her teenage, Jessica wanted to be an actress. She never hide her intentions and studied drama & cultural studies at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, England and obtained graduation degree in drama. She commenced her stage career with Simon Stephen's play Harper Regan playing character of Lesley Sharp's Goth daughter. She began her acting career with theatre but not more.
She also appeared in Garrow's Law and Robin Hood but celebrity stardom came with Call the Midwife. Recently she was seen in horror thriller The Woman in Black co-starring Daniel Redcliff receiving praise from all corners.
