Looks like Tigmanshu Dhulia is not keen anymore on continuing with his plan to make the adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Earlier, filmmaker like Onir, Dhulia, and Vishal Bhardwaj had expressed their wish to make the film on Hamlet.

Even though Onir was first to make the announcement that he plans to make his version of Hamlet, titled Veda, but he has not spoken about the further developments since quite some time now. After that it was Tigmanshu Dhulia, who announced that he plans to make his movie with Hrithik Roshan, while Vishal Bharadwaj announced that he will make the film with Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

However, when it comes to Dhulia, it seems he had a change of heart. Tigmanshu says, "I may not make Hamlet because my writers and I feel it doesn't lend itself very well to cinema."

On the other hand Vishal is very much going ahead with the same, but he is said to be looking for a studio to back his adaptation.

Wonder whether anyone from the three will actually come up with the film on Hamlet!
