Colors’ popular show Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon has become talk of the town for some time now. Earlier, the report of 20-year-generation leap hogged the attention and then, it was Vivian Dsena aka RK’s announcement that he will quit the show post the leap. went viral among the fans of the show. It was also buzzed that Gurmeet Choudhary might be taking the place of RK and play opposite Drashti Dhami, current female lead of the show. However, nothing has got confirmed yet.

Meanwhile, sources found that a new entry is expected to come in the coming episodes. TV actor Puneet Sachdev, who did funnyman’s role in Colors’ Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal, will play a negative role in the show. The storyline will take new twist with his entry. He will play secretary of new character Abhay Kapoor in the show.

“The secretary will invite RK (Vivian) for budding actor Abhay’s party. But RK’s manager Bittu (Indresh Malik) will be getting married on the same day hence, RK will give a miss to the bash to attend the wedding. The act will not go down well with Abhay’s manager and animosity between RK and him will grow,” confirmed sources.

It is also informed that TV actress Suwati Anand has been roped in to essay the role of Bittu’s wife.
