Buzz has it that Hayek was pretty impressed with Mallika’s acting in ‘Hisss’ and wanted to work with her.

Even after both of them returning to US, they kept in touch. Few days back they met for dinner and that was when Salma narrated a script of a film that will be woman-centric. Surprisingly, the Mexican beauty wanted Mallika to play the lead role.

The movie deals with the abuse women face in various parts of the world but the script is not yet finalized. But Mallika has really liked the idea and would love to do the film.

If it materializes it would be a great breakthrough for Mallika as she would be reaching another milestone in Hollywood confirming that project and this would be leaps further the previous ones.

The official spokesperson of the actress gave a very diplomatic answer. “We will be making an announcement if anything is finalized.”
