It is known that south star Rajinikanth is all set to release his most touted upcoming Kochadaiyaan this Diwali as the audience is eagerly waiting for the movie. But his fans would be disappointed to know that now the star has postponed the release of his most anticipated project.

A little birdie from the town says that the south star has decided to reschedule the release of his next in order to avoid a box office clash with Shahrukh Khan’s and Ajay Devgan’s forthcomings.  According to a leading tabloid, the flicks are scheduled for a Diwali release.

As per the industry sources “Rajinikanth’s south market is totally secure. In fact when Kamal Haasan heard of Rajni ji’s Diwali plans, he postponed the release date of his Hindi-Tamil-Telugu tri-lingual film. But then the news of the Ajay Devgn-starrer being released during diwali surfaced. Though, it in no way affects Rajni ji’s Southern and overseas market, the Hindi version is bound to get affected.”

Sources further revealed that initially, Rajni’s team was willing to take on with Ajay Devgan’s forthcoming featuring Sonakshi Sinha but the growing popularity of the actress made the filmmakers decide not to release their movie during Diwali.

Well, the makers have certainly taken a wise decision!
