It’s time to take exit for the new character Ria, played by Vaishnavi Sahrawat in Colors’ Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. The actress, who entered as a negative character, has shot her last scene and says it was an emotional one.
“I was really happy to play the negative lead as I felt my character would stay till the end. But then you cannot predict anything on TV. Probably all the women out there did not like my character as they cannot see anybody in between RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami). I think I too wouldn’t like something like this to happen in my life,” said Vaishnavi.
On being asked her to comment on the decreasing TRPs due to her character, she said, “I am not taking this to the heart, neither am I thinking about all of this. Yes, I was shocked to hear the news but then it’s for the writers, producers and the channel to decide. There wasn’t enough time for the audiences to even realise or know the character well and now it’s ending. Maybe they couldn’t accept me in a negative role.”
Vivian and Drashti were surprised to know Vaishnavi is taking exit from the show. “Both Vivian and Drashti were shocked to learn about my exit. And I too am feeling bad as I had got attached to the team and I am leaving now. Madhubala has a very caring and loving team; it had become like a family for me,” she added.
