Aamir Khan is an Indian film actor, director and producer who has worked in numerous critically and commercially successful films and has established himself as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema. Not only this, he is also the founder-owner of Aamir Khan Productions.
His father, Tahir Hussain, was a film producer while his uncle, Nasir Hussain, was a film producer as well as a director and an actor. He began his career as a child artist in Yaadon Ki Baraat and won Filmfare Best Male Debut award for his debut movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
His first film as a producer was Lagaan which won many awards at several award functions and same goes with his other produced movies like: Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Taare Zameen Par, and Peepli Live etc. Three movies produced by him have been nominated for Oscar.
