Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan, who shared screen space in 2002’s multi-starrer film Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya, are coming together after a gap of nearly 12 years for filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala. They are roped in to play lead characters in Housefull 3, a super-successful franchise of Housefull.

Speaking about Housefull 3, sources close to the production team averred, “The Housefull franchise is a promising one in the masala entertainment space. Housefull 2 is in the 100-crore club. Sajid plans to keep it going till the time he is able to rope in exciting actor combinations. Also as long as he is able to find entertaining scripts.”

According to recent reports, this film will be directed by writer duo Sajid-Farhad, who had also written Housefull 2. It will be their second venture, as their maiden venture, It’s Entertainment, is slated to hit the box office in August 2014. “Nadiadwala is impressed with the writer duo and wants them to get into direction. Housefull 3 may not be their first directorial venture but the duo is quite excited about working with Sajid Nadiadwala,” said sources. Both Housefull and Housefull 2 were directed by Sajid Khan.

Each part of this comedy theme based film has seen multi-stars. But Akshay Kumar played lead character in both parts. Now this time Abhishek Bachchan will be joining the star in the film. It will be truly interesting to see Akshay and Abhishek in a comedy of errors.

We hope the next installment will be bigger than ever and a record-breaking one.
