Television host-turned-Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has stolen the thunder with his debut film Vicky Donor and claimed fame with his eccentric performance. He tried to continue the charm with his next Nautanki Saala, but bagged only critical acclimations. It wasn’t liked by audience due to a slow storyline and weak staging.

During a conversation with sources, Ayushmann expressed that box office as well as critical acclaim are important for him. “I think there should be a mix of both. Initially critical acclaim is required. When you are an actor, you should be accepted as a performer. I strongly believe that all the superstars' films are star heavy, but other films are script heavy.”

"Content heavy films are important. In the initial phase of your career you should go with super scripts. When you become superstar scripts will not matter, you become bigger than the script. But overall both the things are important,” concluded Ayushmann.
