As you watch the first trailer of Madhur Bhandarkar director Heroine, which has even been touted as his most ambitious project till date, you will get to know how the lead Kareena Kapoor has lived up to the expectations while getting into the skin of her character Mahi.

Along with various moods of Bebo, the trailer also gives you the glimpse of the much-awaited item song Halkat Jawani. In the three-minute trailer, Heroine aka Kareena Kapoor is seen in many avatars in the film. One gets to see her confidently manipulating her contemporaries, ripping apart a journalist at a press conference, steaming up the screen with co-star Arjun Rampal and dancing to the raunchy Halkat Jawani, she looks gorgeous and with her acting skills, she seems to have already booked few awards for her. 

It is notable that her steamy scenes with Arjun have also managed to grab eyeballs. In fact, post Kurbaan, this is the first time Kareena has done some extremely intimate scenes.  Madhur Bhandarkar recently released the first poster of the film on twitter. The poster has Kareena dressed in a shimmery tank top and shorts lying down on a bed surrounded by magazines and photos of herself and an empty wine glass. The director tweeted, "Presenting the 1st poster of Heroine to all my well wishers. Hope you like it. The film, charting the journey of a Bollywood actress, is set to hit theatres on September 14”.
